Teagasc / Moorepark Diary Production Research Centre, Fermoy, Co Cork

Two divisions of Teagasc – Diary Production and Moorepark Food Research are based at the Moorepark Campus. The Irish government established the Moorepark facility in 1959 and since then it has been the focal point of Irish research into all aspects of dairy production and carries national responsibility for all aspects of dairy production research.

C.S.E. Ltd worked with Teagasc and Moorepark on the following projects:

  • Supply of skilled labour for planned plant maintenance.
  • Fabrication and installation of pipe work associated with new production halls
  • Manufacture and installation of 1 1⁄2” stainless steel lines to flow plate and from flow plate to homogeniser.
  • Manufacture of Microthermics skid unit
  • Manufacture and installation of 2” stainless steel CIP return lines complete with swing bends between flow plates for washing of vessels.
  • Manufacture of stainless steel chemical storage cabinets.
  • Manufacture and installation of stainless steel lining for top of dryer.
  • Manufacture and installation of stainless steel powder connections and pipe work.
  • Manufacture and installation of stainless steel pipe work associated with relocation of pasteuriser plant.
  • Fabrication and installation of new RO water system
  • Manufacture and installation of various stainless steel mesh guards.
